Tran Dan Thu, Associate Professor, was well recognized in the academic community. He received the Meritorious Teacher and the Second-class Labor Order by the President; Merit Award from the Prime Minister; and Chairman of the HCMC People's Committee. During many years of teaching and research, in addition to academic research in the fields of Applied Mathematics and Information Technology, Professor Tran Dan Thu has also actively engaged in practical research to find solutions utilizing modern technology. In recent years, he has consulted for VNPT IT Company - VNPT Group’s provincial-level projects on digital transformation, and digital platform architectural set-up. The establishment will transform data automatically for public administration and digital public administrative mobile application for citizens.
With his immense expertise in training and applying Information Technology, he always wishes to train excellent students with full capabilities to meet the challenging requirements of the industrial revolution 4.0 and digital transformation of Vietnam; and the urgent requirements of human resources in Information Technology in the years to come.
