ACCOMPLISHMENT OF LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Studying at university is completely different from high school, requiring students to promote a sense of responsibility, self-control and discipline. Accompanying students in this process, UMT organizes academic mentoring activities to assist students in achieving their own academic goals.
Academic mentoring is one of the important activities that not only contribute to student success but also enhances the connection and interaction between students and the university’s pedagogical team. The contents of academic mentoring activities aim to address the following issues:
- Study the correlation between Major and Career
- Good understanding of Training Program and Output Standards - Graduation Requirements
- Prepare a study plan – with reference to the Standard Training Pathway
- Learn how to use the Technology System to Register for Courses and keep track of learning results
- Choose the appropriate subjects, subordinate disciplines
- Build suitable learning, experience and internship pathway
- Difficulties in learning
- Re-entering university after the suspension period, military service, etc.
- Leverage student support services at UMT to achieve academic and career goals
- Seek out support in the presence of psychological barriers
- Prepare for graduation
The pedagogical team in charge of academic mentoring includes Lecturers and Specialists who are professionally trained in coaching, mentoring training and professional activities in each semester to gain information, improve knowledge and share experiences to meet the need for solving problems in study of students.
