M.D. Tran Phan Hoang Minh is an accomplished graphic design lecturer with over a decade of experience in the field. Having started his career as a junior designer at WildFire Collacorative, he quickly developed expertise in branding, packaging design, and typography. Over the years, he has collaborated with a variety of clients, including Korea Foundation and HypeAsia, and has led design teams to create impactful visual solutions.
In addition to his professional practice, Minh is passionate about education and mentorship. He has been a full-time lecturer at Van Lang University for 5 years, and a guest lecturer at Ho Chi Minh city University of Architecture and NOVA Colledge, and has conducted workshops on topics like typography, layout design, and design thinking. His teaching philosophy focuses on fostering creativity, encouraging critical thinking, and equipping students with the practical skills needed to thrive in the ever-evolving design industry.
Joining UMT, Minh wishes to share his knowledge and experiences with students and looks forward to seeing the innovative designs they will create. He is eager to embark on this creative journey together and make the semester memorable and productive.
